He believes that rejecting candidates is not only a loss of valuable talent but also emotionally taxing for everyone involved. So why not create a system that gives candidates a second chance? That idea sparked the creation of the shared talent pool.
Through The TalentPool Community, Westerduin aims to bring together all the so-called ‘silver medallists’ — candidates who narrowly missed out on a job — so that other employers can still benefit from their talent.
